What do you hate most about the Jones hire?

1. Jones himself
or
2. The fact that Collis Temple, Dale Brown, and people like Clarence Caesar are running the program behind the scenes.
Jones may turn out to be a good coach and I'm going to support him but #2 is by far the reason that turns me off of the hire the most.

Its time to move forward. What's the point in bitching about the hire? He going to be our coach and I support him.. Although I didn't agree with the hire.

out of those reasons its number 2. im disappointed we didn't get a bigger name and I really wonder how hard we tried or if it was just a smoke screen the whole time so fans might be more accepting of daddy dale having his way

I hate the fact that nothing has changed. This team will not improve with this douche as HC. Its not coaching we're lacking, its recruiting and you have to have a big name to pull the type players we're recruiting. Two/three years and hes gone because of the same results as before

meh, i've accepted it. alcohol and marijuana may have helped expedited that process but it is what it is.
wish we'd have aimed higher and swung harder but we all saw this coming for over a year. will it work out? time will tell.
i have my doubts but i still love LSU Basketball.

Agree completely. They could have resurrected Adolph Rupp from the dead and some people would still be complaining. Did you ever consider that Dale Brown and Collis Temple know a little bit more about what it takes to win in college basketball than you do?

BTW check out the recruiting board...a lot of "the family" is having kids and siblings old enough to be playing and guess what they are good. Hammink has 3 (one this year and twins next year), Bridgewater has a brother, Jarrell Martin is from BR, and Shaq has a kid coming up soon. If we land those guys we staaaacked. Jones already has a leg up with just about everyone on that list.

I think after watching Collis and to some extent Dale go out of their way to not help LSU because of qualms they had about the hire of TJ, some fans don't want to reward them for their petulance by turning over control of the program to them at least symbolically.
