Our last coaching hires have come from the SunBelt.

Seriously? Average programs from the SunBelt, at that. Beth Torina and Johnny Jones.

And will fall out after this weekend when they lose another series to another top 25 team.

I haven't seen much from her yet to make this team any better than they were last year.

You mean aside from beating a #9 seeded team and a #14 seeded team?

Those kinda things are easy to not notice, I guess.

look at the timestamp... that statement you quoted was from mid-April (this is a bumped thread) it may have been true at that time... but they are getting the job done now

Sulbelt is relatively strong at Baseball and Softball. Not a bad place to find upcoming coaching talent.

That's how the coaching carousel works most of the time. Coaches have success at smaller programs, and from there, get hired on to larger ones.
