Izzy's gonna be there? Holy crap! I thought he was allergic to the public.

He better be.
Easily the most talented musician in that band

Izzy and Ju Ju Hounds was a good album.
I am sure Axl gets tired of the reunion talk but no one gives a grab about Bumblefoot and DJ Ashba. I like some of the songs on Chinese Democracy (Better, Madegascar, If The World, Catcher In The Rye) but after seeing GnR twice in '92, I want that again

Anyone who knows absolutely anything about GnR would or at least should know that.

I read Slash's Autobiography, they should all be glad they are alive to get inducted.

Yeah, I really only care about Izzy. Though Duff seems like a really good dude.

Can somebody cliff note the problem for me? How exactly did Axl and Slash end up so estranged? Not spoken in 18yrs? damn.

according to slash, the band was all about touring and trying to be professional and put on good shows and axl didn't give a f*ck and would not show up and show up late, and all around not respecting the rest of the band,

I saw the interview with Axl on That Metal Show.....he is completely clueless as to the appeal, the legacy, the interest.....anything dealing with the original Guns. He is about the dumbest friggin' goofball I have ever seen interviewed.
I see why no one can work with the jackleg.

Axl is a control freak with bad ideas. SEE: Rain, November.
He was a diva who wouldn’t make it to gigs, or show up late, and always in no condition to perform. You can put up with the diva act if he brings it come showtime or could write friggin’ song that came in under 4:30… and take less than six months to do it. You can’t demand perfection from your bandmates when you can’t even manage adequacy.
He also was suddenly irrelevant with Nirvana, which is kind of sad, as he was one of their early champions. But he didn’t quite get that punk rock was about killing all rock stars, of which he was one. Now he’s like the sad “cool dad” who lamely tries to hop on every trend of what the kids are doing. And failing miserably at it.

Just dug out my old cassette & digitized it to listen at work... I forgot how solid this album is.
