Boards thoughts on M83

What is everyones thoughts on M83? Anthony Gonzalez and M83 are by far my favorite band and each album that he releases is completely different in terms of the last. From techno to I'm not sure to 80's throwback to something unique, every album and song he does is just hauntingly awesome/beautiful. Probably the most underrated band/artist out there today and he is starting to slowly pick up steam and recognition, as Hurry Up, We're Dreaming was considered one of the top albums of 2011. Highly recommend him if you like good music.

Dig 'em. "Saturdays = Youth" is my favorite album; "Digital Shades Vol. 1" is good, too.

Haven't listened to any of their old stuff but I like the new album. Other than "midnight city", "Steve Mqueen" and "Reunion" are solid jams

Do it. It's amazing to hear him then and now. The way he has evolved is amazing. And his old stuff is actually incredible too. It's almost as if he is telling a story with how his music progression has gone. And I hate to be that guy, but M83 consists only of Anthony Gonzalez, with collaboration from other people.

Also, if anyone has seen That's It, That's All, you'll know that M83 is incredible to listen to while engaged in a winter extreme sport. That movie brought my attention to M83 and I highly recommend it. It's basically Travis Rice and friends in the backcountry doing insane tricks that were shot with an Imax camera. Just breathtaking.

i dont know about M-83s
but i do know M-80s are pretty cool
