Why he is good enough to be a one and done. Why waste a year for transferring?

Ok, if he is granted a release and doesn't have to sit out a year, I could see that.

Thanks...it'll be great to get them (i know a baylor fan dont want to hear that)

I also think if Rose comes Hickey is gone...

Seems like Drew is using LSU for a raise (leverage). Hope we land a coach of his caliber and he brings a few stud recruits to not set us back 4 years.

I like a coach that gets slapped on the wrist. It means he does what it takes to get the talent to his school without going overboard. Ride your bike up there and bring Scott Drew home.

I can see it knw
2012 recruiting class
Malik Morgan, L.J. Rose, Rico Gathers & Isaiah Austin maybe Shavon Coleman.

That would be a top 5 class

But, as mentioned, they likely wouldn't be stopped from following Drew, LOI or not.

I understand your thought behind this, but that's just one year. We're looking for somebody who can do it year to year.

You do realize the mess he inherited at Baylor, right?

A player literally offed one of his teammates. The violations that occurred on Dave Bliss' watch were the least of their worries.

Baylor coach Scott Drew could be interested in LSU. "If LSU went after Scott with the commitment that they want to compete with Kentucky, he would listen," said coach Tim Byrd of Riverside Academy near New Orleans. Byrd, who coached Baylor commitment Ricardo Gathers, said he talks often with Drew.

I find it odd that Byrd is the mouthpiece for Scott Drew. That opens up a whole other set of questions.
