Direct TV sports pack / Extra Innings

I want to watch Red Sox games. I see that they have NESN on the sports pack for $13/month. Will ordering this work?
Or will Direct TV try and make me purchase the Extra Innings package which gives me every teams games?

You will have to get Extra Innings. They black out the games on the Fox Sports type channels that are not local.
