Would Rafa go back to pool? Would pool ever take Rafa back? Would the fans welcome Rafa back? Would you welcome Rafa back?

TFTC, he has nothing to come back too. This is the worst Pool has been in 50+ years. Coming back would be a step down.

Most likely

Yes

With a stable ownership behind him, Rafa could succeed again at LFC. If LFC does part ways with King Kenny this summer, Rafa would be the best option on the market. Doubt it would happen though.

He has already said he would. He still lives in his old house in Liverpool.

As much as I love Dalglish, you have to wonder what Rafa would have done in the transfer market over the past two years. If he had proper resources where would we be at now?

Top 4. Look who he bought under the previous ownership:

Torres
Alonso
Mascherano
Glen Johnson
Dirk Kuyt
Peter Crouch
Lucas
Skrtel
Reina
Agger
Shelvey
Flanagan

And those are just guys off the top of my head. Who knows who else I am forgetting.

Who has Kenny bought?

Suaerz
Adam
Carroll
Downing
Henderson
Enrique

My question is what can Rafa do with the team he would inherit?

The problem as previously stated lies with ownership. Bringing Rafa back with these owners is asking Benitez to be a miracle worker. He is a good coach with proven results. Liverpool to me are several years away from top 4.

Why would anyone say that he wouldn't? He would in a heartbeat.

I'm of two sides to this. I wanted him out as much as anyone two years ago but hearing now how toxic the club was during his reign makes me think he might be great to have a second shot under stable ownership.

I actually don't think I'd be against it at all the more I think about it

After H&G, I'm pretty sure Rafa would be cool with anyone.

2 CL finals under shite ownership and Liverpool's highest ever PL point toal in a season. He now would have responsible owners willing to do anything to win.

The current team right now might not be top 4 material, but they aren't far away from it. Don't let the past 6 results fool you, they aren't as bad as they have played.

He is a great tactical manager who is awesome at evaluating young talent. With these owners, sky is the limit.

He did a pretty fricking good job at Tottenham though. It definitely isn't all Comolli.

HUH? This is the worst season for Pool in 50 odd years. last 6 results or not. Pool are YEARS plural from top 4. Rafa may be better than King Kenny but CL finals and high point totals are not coming from that roster with Mourinho coaching them is all I am saying. If pool fans want Rafa back that is fine. I don't hate the guy.

Liverpool are having a very transitional year, much like my Chelsea. I can empathize with them. Too many players have to go to give them a shot at top 4 also the form on the ones that stay has to change. I personally don't see it. Watched enough Liverpool games to know what they can give me on the pitch. Strong outings against top levels and mediocre ones against the rest.

Exactly. What does this tell you? TACTICS! This is where Rafa would make an immediate impact.
