So now a person in the media is also reporting about the Brees contract rumor.
does this finally have enough legs to be true? at this point, i think its easily a done deal. seems too many people have heard it for it to be just a rumor.
heres to having brees for 5 more years

I wasnt being negative. I was only pointing out that on this site only around 3 people have reported hearing this RUMOR. I do venture to other sites, and still someone who says "I have a reliable source close to the orginization" does not have my vote of confidence. That is my opinion.

What do you expect a rumor like "Brees for five years for $115 mil to do?"
I am as wishful/hopeful as everyone that this is true, however, I am going to....
There is no doubt in my mind that a Brees deal will get done.
It's just a question of when.

Lets assume this happens. Im going to also assume we lose Payton for the year but get Parcells.
This means Loomis will have gotten:
Colston
Grubbs
Chamberlin
Lofton
Hawthorne
Bunkley
Parcells
and locked Brees up.
could it even be argued that Loomis is the greatest GM in the NFL today?
