The Vikings want to undercut the Saints for Da Tuna.

I've gotten over Favre. I wouldn't be hurt if this happen. If Parcells really wants to walk into a situation where he's tasked with rebuilding a team, then more power to him. I would like to have Parcells for a year, but we really just need someone to let our coordinators do their thing. We don't need Parcells for that.

I haven't read the article yet, but this makes absolutely no sense. Parcells isn't looking to break back in to the coaching ranks. At least I don't think he is. A 1 year stint for a friend is pretty ideal for him, not rebuilding a franchise.
