Interesting tidbit on Christian Lacouture

I know his defensive coordinator. He played for Mcneese and is not a big LSU fan.
However, the principal of his school is Buddy Reed. Reed is the former principal at West Monroe and more importantly, is Rodney Reed's dad. He is obviously ALL LSU. Also, he gets very involved in the recruiting process with athletes he's associated with and especially when it concerns LSU.
No real details yet, but thought I'd share.

Thanks for the info. It seems like we have a very good shot at landing him. This has potential to be an extremely good D-Line class.

Unless Michigan completely blows him out of the water when he visits, he's ours. Honestly doubt Michigan pushes as hard as we have and even if they do it will be in vain most likely.

the current DC is Dale Williams. 2nd yr. on staff. was HC at Caldwell for several yrs.

The coach I know is Ray Kavanaugh. He is the former DC. He was moved to offense when the new coaching staff came in and I completely forgot. Apologies

Awaiting to hear you're inside information on Clowney I believe? Could be wrong, but I think that's what I read Fanva. Something about a story in which you left out some juicy details and left the readers hanging.

Just FYI- Reed is no longer the principal.... He now serves as the Director of Student Activities for the school district. You are right in that he does become heavily involved in the recruitment process for ALL athletes in the school district. I do know that the guy loves LSU so I imagine this will help.
