Fair enough. I hope it's true. I also think we all assume a deal will get done at some point. So I'm not sure why it's so crazy to think it could be done now.

I think Loomis has Drew by the nuts to get a deal done around the 21-21.5 mill range, like mouth said... what was the point of the holdoff all this time. Hopefully we get good salary relief from suspensions. Waiting to see how else they gonna make room.

This. You posted what you heard, then qualified your statement by noting that it was a rumor and should treated as such. You didn't come here speaking in anyway to insinuate otherwise. I don't understand why people are getting bent out of shape.
It's not like your quoting Otto the garbage man or something. It sounds like you have a reasonably reputable source who may or may not have some insider info. Thank you for sharing it and I hope you're right.

they've had to restructure quite a few contracts to fit it in along with other FA moves...
