Will Kwon or Feist play there or should we be looking to bring 1 or 2 guys in the next class?

considering that he will only be a junior, I think it's a tad bit early to declare an heir already

but if I had to say, it would be Kwon but isn't he an OLB?

So did Brockers before last season, but you never know how well a player will perform and cause their stock to rocket.

It's 2 years away (unless he blows up this year) but I think the successor is Debo Jones

Linebacker depth for next year is not a big concern.

Dude...we're talking about Kevin Minter, not Michael Brockers. Not every junior is in danger of going pro on us. Minter is a solid player but hardly a top round talent right now (or probably at the end of this season). When's the last time we had a LB declare early anyways?

Freak Johnson. Will play DT & MLB at same time. That'll earn him his nickname.

There just seems to be a drop off after Minter and that's even this year. The depth at MLB seems to lack playmaker ability.

I hope we start preparing Kwon to play the middle. If not Kwon, then definitely Feist.

Some of you are making jokes about it, but I think quality MLB depth is a legit concern. If Minter goes down I think we're f'd just like all of last year. And there weren't that many people who thought Brockers would leave early.

It was a simple question. Do you think we already have the guy, or should we be looking now?

For all that answered thanks. I am seriously seeking others input who know more about the LB's than I do. Did all of the new guys play only OLB?

brewhan davey,

Debo seems like it's goin to be the second coming of "the bodybag game" when he's on the field. Also, does he have the speed and enough coverage skills to play S, or would that be like another Hatcher?
