I'm a fan of Abita amber and shock top. Wanted something else.

There are much better beers out there, but Rogue Dead Guy Ale is still one of my favorites.

Rogue Beers would be a good place to start. Try their Hazelnut brown or their chocolate stout

Just came back from Calondros and it looks like they got a bunch of new stuff. Picked up Cantillon Lambic, Mikeller I Hardcore U double IPA and a 8 Wired Batch 31. Goodtimes

Miller light won awards too.

My tastebuds find their beers to be average. Im not the only one who feels this way. Theres a lot of people that love rogue. I dont like rogue, deal with it. To each his own.

I never knew that Calandros got Cantillon. I picked up these at Steins this AM.

Guess it's a good thing for them you aren't a judge.

To each his own, but I belive among beer drinkers you'd be in the minority on that opinion.

And to the person who mentioned Rogue Dead Guy Ale, I second that motion. Very good beer IMO.

I personally like their stuff. I feel that some of their styles I don't really care for but it doesn't mean that they're not solid brews.

I could see where he's coming from though. Some of the smaller more extreme breweries out there are just amazing.

I remember when I started getting into different beers, I liked Dead Guy. And I guess I still do. It's sort of a gateway beer. You are drinking a craft beer but it's rather bland.

You don't know me, but I am not a big fan of Rogue either. They make a few that I think are good--Double Chocolate Stout is one--but their lineup as a whole is umimpressive. As for high volume breweries, I'd go with Stone over Rogue any day. You like what you like.
