Draft day trade?

Is there anyway if we end up with let's say the 3 and 10 pick in the draft that the team with the number 1 pick which will be Davis would trade us for our 2 picks...I know how the football picks trade chart works but would that be enough to land the number 1 pick if we don't win the lottery?

No, there isn't. The only team that would consider trading away the quality of Davis for a quantity of assets was a team that was already set for starting PF. I'm having a hard time coming up with a lottery team that would trade down. I could possibly see Portland consider it if New Jersey got a top 3 pick to keep it from going to Portland and Portland's #11 or so pick defied the odds and won the lottery. Assuming Portland views Davis as a PF only and not a C, I could see them benefiting more from trading 1 for 3 and 10 to draft Beal and a Zeller to pair with Aldridge and Batum.
