Why would you add an award like that after the fact. No one knew they were competing for it during the year.
Why not wait and award it for this coming season as a new award.

TM7 is easily my favorite player in college football right now, but I don't think he deserved to win that award. He wasn't a real return threat until the last few games. But once he turned it on, he was unreal. Next year he will snag this for sure, along with many other awards.
