Dont get me wrong I love our home grown talent but there is just something about when an out of state guy falls in love with LSU. Big Sam was born to be a tiger even though he was from SC. This guy seems like a tiger in his heart too!!! I love it!!

It's hyperbole but also sort of valid with as much as Gilmore likes to talk to the media. I think is more what the point was. Gilmore isn't one that is shy about expressing how he feels.

I know what you mean. It's like a recognition that it's a special place when an outsider sees it.
