New York Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in the 2012 season-opening NFL Kickoff game on Wednesday, September 5. per Adam Schefter.

Playing the Cowboys is really stupid. No one wants to see a divisional game in this match up. People like this game because it's usually a clash of cross-divisional titans. (of course we also like it because the season starts..)

NFL knew that giving them New Orleans or Green Bay would probably end the streak of home undefeatedness on opening night.

This'll be the third straight Cowboys/Giants game to be nationally televised on NBC.
I mean, if they wanted to give the most coveted game in the NFL to a team that cheated and can't make the playoffs, they could have given the spot to the Redskins
