Trout for Montero?

My AL-only auction league hasn't had our draft yet. One guy offered me Trout for Montero, who would have both been our keepers.
Trout is $2, Montero would be $10 (league waiver rules), but Trout would already be in his second year. After year 3, the contract is done or you can renew $5/year after that. Is Trout looking like he would be in the majors early this year?

Would Trout's contract not stay there for an additional year since he is starting opening day in the minors?

Standard league rule. 3 years at first year price, regardless of drafting as a prospect. As it is, the other guy asked for Smoak instead, so I'm making the trade. I'll keep Trout through next year most likely and see what he does.
