There's going to be one more season with Amy and Rory before this new girl starts. That will probably start sometime this summer.

I hope they keep River Song even after Any and Rory leave. I really like that character and woudl not mind seeing a whole season with her as his compainion.

I actually took it to mean a series of voyages. As in Amy and Rory will be on for multiple episodes (possibley 1/2-2/3) of the season and something happens that results in them no longer being his companion (I have an idea but will not put it due to possible spoilers). At some point during the season (either while Amy and Rory are still with him, but most likley after they have departed) he meets the new companion.
TLDR version: Amy and Rory start the season, are there for part to most of it and new compainion comes along toward the last third of the season.
