This would make the 3rd year in a row that the Saints are involved in the Thursday nite k.o. show. Has anyone heard if we were?? I hope bounty gate will not stop the NFL from this.

0% because of the bounty issue, I would imagine.

0% because it's a Wednesday night kickoff this year

I thought about that this morning. Peyton versus Brees could be tempting to the NFL, regardless of the bounty thing, IMO.

IIRC, the Giants play GB at home. A re-match of last year's playoff game with the last two SB champs is probably going to get that game.

I had a dream the other night that this happened. We lost 66-60. I woke up terrified. I want no part of this

0% because the Saints own the Giants and they wouldn't want the Super Bowl Champions getting skull fricked the first game of the season...

I hope not, but I seriously doubt the Saints are on opening night. The visiting team is always the underdog playing in a hostile environment while the home team gets to hang their championship banner in front of their fans in a sold out stadium. It's almost an automatic win for the defending champs. If the Saints did not play at Green Bay on opening night last year, they probably would have won. I'd prefer the NFL put two random teams or non-playoff teams to play opening night, so all the opening game hype goes to two teams who rarely gets any prime time action.
