Who's got the best cash and carry boiled crawfish/fillers in the P-ville area?

I would say Tommy's fish house but they've been doing done in only when I've gone in at night on the weekend. If you can't get any to go there you can try peppers fresh market, formerly marinos, formerly pville produce.

Drive 5 minutes to Gonzales and Try Christian Brothers on 44. Best in Ascension Parish if you ask me.

The Italian Bowl - He used to own P Ville Produce without a doubt the best in town.

Tommy's (Old Perkins)
Gulf Net (621)
American Market & Seafood (Bayou Narcisse & Roddy)
are all good.

I've heard the place on the corner of HWY 74 and HWY 30 is really good too. Good prices and great bugs.

Martinez is pretty bad. Seafood Corner on 621 and airline is good though

I isually like Tommys, but i was not pleased at all with their crawfish last week, size or flavor.

I am gonna try kellys this weekend.

Eta: does kellys take debit cards or just cash?

Not sure how competitive the prices are, but harvest supermarket had some good bugs last spring.

have ate there twice in the last two weeks and have not been pleased with their service...both times took over 45 min. to get the food to my table..the food was good so dont get me wrong on that but it shouldnt take that long twice..one was a weeknight and one was a friday and different times also just to see if it could have been just the time of day but we got the same result..we will not be eating in there again....like i said the food was good so not bashing that...

had to get that off my chest...thanks for reading and if you didnt its ok..

This was kinda the opposite of my problem. I ordered the $8 crab and cheese dip, which I love, and before I could get started in it good, they had my crawfish there. I was the only one of the four of us eating crawfish, so there I was with my hot crawfish while my other dinner mates had no food besides the appetizer I was missing out on. On top of that, the crawfish were small and not that flavorful. I am normally a fan of Tommy's food.

I've tried them all in Ascension and you can't beat Gulf Net on Hwy 621. Galvez Seafood on Hwy. 42 is a close second. Cajun Catch on Orice Roth Rd. in Gonzales is third on my list. Martinez and Christian Bros. are both great for boiled crabs and shrimp but not crawfish.

Last year they had good ones because they waited until they got a little size on em before they started buying. I worked there for a few months last spring/summer on the weekends to make some side cash boiling crawfish and most of the time they were some good looking ones. Never knew what the price was, but I know there is almost no mark-up on them there. They don't make much on crawfish, they just make a killing on all the other shite you buy to go with them

They also sell live sacks. I drug up though so idk what they look like this year.
