I'd be interested to see the NIT invites when the NIT was the top tournament

Vacated appearances are a pretty weak punishment. That shite still happened.

UL-Monroe – 7

Back when Daddy Dale was trying to convert Football fans into basketball fans, NLU had 21 consecutive winning seasons in a row (1961-1982). This was back when Lenny Fant was the coach. ULMWarhawks.com

Every year they had to paint the new total on a banner they had in Ewing Colosseum(now Fant-Ewing). After Fant left they hired his top assistant, Mike Vinning. He had a .500 record his first year so they had to repaint the banner to something like "22 consecutive non-losing seasons."

Only reason I remember that is because I saw an interview with Fant talking about DB bragging on LSU having four winning seasons in a row.

Calvin and Kenny Natt helped Fant win a lot of those games. When I was in high school I caught a C. Natt led NLU team against a Robert Parish led Centenary team.

Texas Arlington's is worse. Wiki

quote:

The Mavericks currently play at Texas Hall, which is a 3,300 seat theater on the campus. The teams play on the stage, and fans can watch the game from either the theater seats or the bleacher section.

They may have opened a new arena this season but they played here for years. I never went to a game where anyone sat in the theater part of the building. The lights weren't on in that part.

If you're into it they've got a damn big stage for musicals.
