Anyone on here that attended the school? I see that the football coach left. What kind of program is it? Who are the front runners to replace him? And why would the coach leave to go to Live Oak?

ole mueshmeche eh? played for him at st Michael. did pretty good with the talent he had. wasnt a fan of the offense he had us running though. nothing but sweeps and traps, and we definately did not have the speed to be running sweeps. never had a decent qb either so passing game was pretty much non-existent

used to think the guy was terrible and was glad when he left but looking back he really did do pretty good with the little talent we had. never won a playoff game but always had an over .500 record. might have helped that our district wasn't to great

I coached there for four years from 2000-2004. I saw a former student the other day and he said that the school is in trouble as far as enrollment is concerned now that a magnet school is opened in plaquemine. I don't know what will happen though.

Live Oak is building a new school that includes a new stadium, field turf, and field house. Guessing that along with public school pay/retirement would be a reason to leave.
