Golf is hard as shite.

When Jordan came back from baseball took him like 2 weeks to get back to playing like Jordan. Its taken Tiger 2 years since his fiasco and he is just starting to resemble Tiger again.

Here we go . I've got to study so I don't have time to argue off all the tiger haters.

No he did the entire time. Hence my point that golf is very hard.

Golf is the hardest sport to maintain once at a high level, or at least keep any consistancy ...

Some observations from an old man:

The hardest thing to do in sports is hit a round baseball with a round bat knowing the ball can kill you if it hits you in the face. This is what Michael Jordan learned.

I played tennis and golf in my youth. I gave them both up for 20 years. I returned to both and found that I could not play tennis at all but golf came right back to where I was. So muscle memory is more important in tennis.

Let's face it. In golf, the ball is just sitting there.

Golf at a very high level requires repetition, just like most sports. Tiger Woods probably lost reps while he was chasing .... other interests.

Friendly golfers cheat. If someone tells you he shoots 80, he probably shoots 100 by strict USGA rules.

TV needs Tiger. I will not watch a golf tournament unless he is playing. I love watching him whine when he loses.

Re: Tiger joining the Navy Seals. I didn't know that the Navy Seals allowed whiners.

Golf is all mental...I dont care what PEOPLE say...if you haven't played golf you dont know this...

Had one of my worse rounds after I found out some horrible news..I was already 2 holes in, but continued playing and really wish I wouldn't have..one of the worse days of my life

so just think about all the crap Tiger has to deal with when he lines up to make a 10 ft. birdie putt that use to be so easy for him. now he's thinking, "K, if I make this everyone will go crazy and I can shut up the media"..then he misses and adds fuel to the fire..

Yes, but Tiger's situation was NOTHING like Jordan's, so I guess the extra time was completely understandable.

No Tiger Woods situation is needed for that one.

Go to the range and you'll see.

90% mental actually. The 10% physical is dominated by your mentality because although a small percentage, the physical things you have to accomplish are almost infinite.

So Tiger was whoring around = lost reps = and was better?
