Looking back and given the circumstances that we are in( probably going to lose a few picks)
Do you still think we wasted a pick?

Given that our 1st round pick may have gotten yanked this year due to bountygate, Loomis and Payton look like freaking geniuses with that pick.

No we were literally 20 seconds away from hosting the NFC Championship game. Our problem again? We ran out of RB's in the playoffs. Perhaps Ingram helped PT stay healthy as long as he did.

but isnt it better to have two 1st rd picks in one draft than to have none and it not be our choice?

Letting one player take over the game.

We ran out of bounty money. Our piece of shite defense didn't bother stopping an a-hole like Alex Smith without the extra incentive.

Shitty defensive play? In case you didn't notice, NO ONE RAN ON THE 49ERS LAST YEAR!

They gave up one rushing td all year and that was to Marshawn Lynch in week 17.

I thought the price for Ingram was too steep, but I am sure Intranet will make a fine RB as long as he stays healthy.

Tbh, we were probably 20 seconds from winning the SB as I don't think the Giants were beating us in the Dome.

And this is the correct answer

only way you could argue wasted pick is if you think we shouldve done the exact same thing but gotten a different, "better" player.

Why does this question keep getting asked?

A rookie running back who has only played one year in a system where we run 3-4 backs a game......Come on people. It wasn't logical to evaluate the pick in week 6 like most of you tards did, and it isn't logical to do so now. Let him get another year or two under his belt and play a bigger role in the offense, then pass judgment on the pick.

Greedy effers some of you fans are.

Cant blame the defense on that one. the offense gave up the ball way too much.
