The luck / manning situation got me thinking, which athlete is under the most pressure right now to win?

luck, lebron, tiger? any others?

Lebron but ironically he's in the easiest/best position to succeed.

Lebron easily. I still feel like Tiger has plenty of time to get to 19 and his golf game is rounding into form. Jack didn't win his 15th major until he was 38 and won his 16th major at age 40. There are also numerous players like Mark O'Meara who won multiple majors in their '40s. Tiger's going to be fine.

Matt Ryan isnt exactly a superstar athlete but he could be put in this category.

Luck isn't under any immediate pressure to win (championship) with Indy per se...Manning only won one in his entire Indy career.

Luck just can't suck.

If turns out to be anything other than an elite QB he'll deemed a bust

What about Yu Darvish? If he fails, Japanese pitchers can pretty much say bye-bye to the MLB. And he was signed for over $100 million, more then $30 million more then the Rangers would invest in a home-grown quasi-ace. And he is on the back-to-back AL champions. He has some pressure I would say.

I kige this as far as Lebron having the most pressure. But being in the best position to succeed is one of the reasons for the pressure, so it isn't really ironic.
