As quoted in USA Today in regards to Saints pay for pain bounty "we might look back on this as the beginning of the Saints downfall".

Bobby speaks his mind, but also does alot for the ratings. You can't say the man lacks passion for the Saints.

Depending on how far the commish takes this, he could be right. If we get drafty picks taken away etc it's going to hurt in a few years.

But on the real. I hate to dwell on the past but it's reasons like this you HAVE to take advantage of your opportunities. Last year we basically flushed a Super Bowl win down the toilet. We might only have a couple years left withering the guys together. We've all seen how hard it is/was this year.
For this reason, I hope we go get Moss, put up 75 on everyone and finish what the Pats couldn't do in our own dome.

He is a drunk, southern, passionate Saints fan just like damn near everyone else on this board. He is concerned just like all of us. I have a pit in my stomach that tells me this last week could possibly be our downfall. This has been one of the shitiest weeks in Saints history. Every Saint fan is concerned and if your not than you are not A true fan. He is speaking from the heart and he could be right, so No he is not an idiot. Just my opinion.

I see nothing wrong with what he said. Ive been thinking the same thing. Of course it all depends on how bad the punishment is. It also depends on if we're able to replace Colston and Nicks and upgrade our defense. That's a lot of shite to take care of. Not saying we cant overcome this, but a really harsh penalty could do it.
