Concerning the article by Ashley Fox about Payton needing to be fired. Was there as much outrage against Belichick during spygate? He knew about his team cheating but didn't do anything about it. Were people calling for him to be fired or is this just ESPN hating the Saints?

Sorry if already discussed

Mike Freeman said some things on the Hangover today that were frankly eye-opening

It could be just his opinion but if the league actually views SP like this guy said.....well look out

He led his team in a cheating ring and personally viewed video tapes of others practices in order to cheat the game of football. This is so much worse its pathetic to watch the current media coverage.

the league office views Payton as a renegade, spouting off, not following rules, pushing the envelope and they have been waiting to lay him out

Love what he has done with/for the Saints but the league office does not view him as a very good person

again, that could be his opinion or it could have some factual basis

The NFL is becoming a league of conformists and pussies. Anybody who does things differently than the almighty vision of Goodell is chastised for their actions
