The show's story just didn't take any risks. They made the two protagonists out to be Christ-like figures who could do NOTHING wrong while the main antagonist was a total psychopath.

I liked it, but it wasn't a very good show. The premise is awesome, but the execution was not very good, and downright awful at times.
But I think everyone expected it to be canned.

This cannot come as a shock to anyone. It was a god awful show with horrible ratings. There are plenty of god awful shows on tv, mind you, they just have good ratings (see, e.g., CSI Miami).

I agree that the show had its issues, but how do some shows continue to exist with the same stale writing? i.e. all CSI shows.

My thoughts as well. The whole factions thing didn't work for me. They needed hotter womenz and more man vs badass nature. Maybe a more primitive yet diabolic native race of beings that enjoy abducting their women folk and such.

They are all just recycled murders with different characters. I don't understand the appeal anymore.

I hate shows like this. They take a really good idea and turn it into total crap. Now, we won't see people riding dinosaurs on tv for a good ten years!

i love the idea of people and dinosaurs sharing the planet... but they didn't make it worth following.
