Anybody ever tried these out? I've had the Costa fathom cords on my glasses for some time now and I thought I would give these a try.

I have them on my fathoms and love em. Also, they sell em at wal marks.

I don't like how the stick straight out when you're wearing the glasses. The cable was constantly hitting the headrest on my seat.

I am using the same setup. They are great but not perfect. If you wear a jacket with a hood on the cablz drives me nuts because it gets caught on the hood. Croakies work great but when I am driving I get annoyed because it seems to get stuck behind my neck and I have a hard time turning my head. When you are outside and hot and sweaty though I cannot stand having the Croakies on the back of my neck. Then they start soaking up the sweat and turn all nasty looking. It is a vicious cycle. I like the cablz much better over all

They make two lengths, maybe you should try the shorter length. Mine will also roll downwards some if I jack with'em a little. I like mine even bought another set at the Expo last weekend for a spare.

I used them for a while but ended up taking them off. They were alright but ended up stretching out the frames on my last pair of costas.

i have the shortest ones and they are still too long IMO

i've thought about moving the little nut on the cord and trimming off a couple of inches, just havent gotten around to it

i have the actual cable ones, not the monofilament, but i'd probably go black mono if i bought another set

The arms on my brines have straightened out, no curve behind the ear

Not sure if it's the cablz fault or he heat of my truck dash or what

It was the metal cable ones, of I got them again I'd get mono. My face is already skinny, and the cablz wanted to sit straight out mee or less not attached, so they put outward pressure on the frame. And when they hung on my neck, I had the shortest ones so they put more pressure outwards on the frame (hard to explain). I didn't take much for them to start falling off my face. They still fit my brothers and buddy, so I got a new pair and gave them to my brother. These were Brines, with the plastic hinges. It wouldn't happen to a pair with metal hinges.

I use em, no problems here. I like that they don't get all nasty and wet.

That was the reason I got them originally. They're awesome for fishing in the summer time.

This thread is inspiring me to go buy a pair of the monofilament ones.

only problem is they push the glasses forward when you have a jacket on sometimes.

I think I understand. Sorta like a spring exerting tension outwards and eventually hyper-extending the hinges.

Right. Not very much, it still fits normal people, just not my peanut head

thats why i say trim them

i saw a guy that made some homemade ones and they stuck off the back of his head no more than an inch.....i dont think he could easily pull them over his ears to hang on his neck though
