Serious question...would NFL play NCAA style-post season ban?

Have not seen this anywhere but they keep talking about God'ell issuing unique and never before issued penalties and this popped into my head. Not much worse than no playoffs imho...anyway, this whole situation is ridiculous...all teams do someform of this...doesn't make it right but saints just got caught..smh

There is no way this would happen. It would effectively render the Saints' entire season meaningless and would compromise the integrity of the league as a whole when teams like the Falcons, Panthers, and Bucs get two "free wins" against a team that doesn't care.
