Fired my new Sig Pro .40 cal today. Very impressed - accurate, low recoil, no malfunctions, etc.
I would recommend to take a look at this one for a medium frame SA/DA pistol. About half the price of their P226 classic - was $400 at Academy, and saw they have the 9mm on sale for $379 now. Can get 9mm, .40 cal, or 357 Mag.
Should be easy for women to shoot also, especially in 9mm. Polymer frame, but so are Glocks and others.

The beauty is you can shoot it for a while and sell it for more than you paid. I just sold that exact gun used for $450 and bought a walther.

the 2022 is probably the best $400 pistol out there.

I own it in 9mm and have put a few thousand rounds through it and never had a jam. I Put it a tlr-1 on it and it's my bedstand pistol

I was looking at those in Academy. I wondered if there was a catch, because the price seemed "Too good to be true" for a Sig.

It is good to know that they are solid pistols and a solid design in their own right. Too many polymer pistols are Glock Clones that look like a chinese reverse engineered (insert item here).
