For $15. Getting good reviews so far, and I enjoyed the first game.
IGN review.
From Wikipedia:
American Nightmare is set as an independent game and does not reflect on the major storyline of the franchise. It only exists to broaden and expand the universe. While this may not be Alan Wake 2, Remedy Entertainment have assured that this is not the last Alan Wake game, and that there is a sequel in the works.
Plot
Alan Wake seems to be stuck in Arizona. Even worse, he seems to be inside one of his Night Springs episodes he wrote earlier in life when writing for the show. Whilst he uncovers a mystery of his own, he is caught between a battle of light and dark, whilst he reflects on the borderline of reality and fiction.
Just a heads up for any other fans of the original game in here.

I loved the first game. I was so happy when I acquired flash bangs for the first time.

I just hope this game has a lot of Barry. I LOL'd the first time he came walking out wrapped in Christmas lights.

My question is, how the hell did he keep them lit? It is not like he was walking around with a loooong extension cord.

I'm enjoying this so far. It's a lot more action-oriented than the first game...more weapons, different kinds of Taken. Story is okay too, we'll see where it goes from here. I'd definitely recommend getting it if you enjoyed the first game though.

I might look into this one. I did like the original

Can't be worse than the first. I have never played such a monotonous, repetitive game in my life (except Superman 64). It got to the point where I was going as fast as possible just to finish the story (only thing I liked).
