I got there @ 11:45 & informed my buddy Bucky, the manager, we were there to watch the game. We had him turn it on in our section @ 12:35, 10 minutes before tipoff. We were just playing FIFA & watching the Marquette game up to that point.
ETA: have directv at the house, so we didn't know the local channel. Most of the delay in putting it in was probably us trying different channels til we found it was 7 (like I said in the 1st place, while my friends claimed it was everything from 4, 16, 37, etc).

I stand corrected then Honkus. Thanks for setting it up for me. I've just had that happen to me so many times the last 3 years I thought it was another repeat since I had to ask my server to put it on. He certainly didn't know it was on.

Well you're right about the apathy part.. I doubt they woulda had it on if my group (or yours) wouldn't have been there.
One thing my buddy told me that's really cool, is they have a geauxzone subscription. So if you can't make it to the box, or there are road games that aren't on TV but on GZ, you'll be able to catch em there.

That's good to know... I have yet to go to the new pluckers, but have heard some good things about it, even more of an incentive to go now

I need to know how to do this. I can watch the jtv stream on my ps3 but a local connection from gz would be awesome.

definitely the case. I've been there a few times this year when LSU plays on wednesday nights and I always had to get them to put the game on. problem was i usually didn't know what channel but they'd find it and put it on for me. Only the Vandy game did I actually see another TV with the game on (at least a tv which i could see, and you can usually see like 10 from wherever you sit)
