The best part of Mardi Gras is being funny and satirical and wearing a mask so on one knows who you are for a day. It's great, relax have fun.
They made a joke about Les, they make jokes about EVERYONE! It has become one of my favorite parades because there is no one that is off limits. It's not the krewe trying to take shots at LSU, Louisiana, or support Bama for that matter it's all about having fun and joking around. Relax, it was in good fun.

I don't think the irritation stems over the float. More of the idea that "LSU fans" would make a mockery of a program they claim to support. The OP said this was the best float of Mardi Gras. What exactly is so fricking wonderful about having our program getting made fun of because dumbasses believe a guy that nearly cost us the first Alabama game was all of a sudden jesus christ with the ability to heal disease and walk on water.
