Keep Ryan Braun? Who would u keep off this team?

12 team ultra competitive 2 person keeper league.
Been waiting to get in to this league for a few years, guy dropped out and Im taking over his team (last place last year)
These are my keeper options
Ryan Braun
Josh Hamilton
Mike Trout
Corey Hart
Freddie Freeman
Adrian Beltre
Jon Lester
pretty rough group to pick from.
What is everyones thoughts?

Gotta keep Braun regardless. Is there a limit on how many years you can keep someone? That might have an affect on who else I would keep. I would eliminate Hart from that list.

No, no rules on the keepers.
There is an option to just keep 1 guy and receive and extra draft pick.
So I could potentially just keep Hamilton and let Braun go.

With only 2 keepers, I'd keep Beltre and Hamilton. Your draft will be talent rich and frankly your two keepers will not determine your success.

I don't see the point of keeping 2 so it probably doesn't matter who you keep. And that's rule #2 which effectively negates rule #1.

Hambone in a contract year and Beltre since he's aa elite 3rd basemen. If you wanted Braun back, you may be able to scoop him back up with your first pick.

Lester is 4 years younger. Beltre will only decline from here on out. Just my reasoning. Trout and Freeman are good keepers but not if your only keeping 2.

Under NO circumstance should you throw Braun back. He would have arguably been the number one player this year if not for suspension. He will have to sit out 50 games but you still have him for 2/3 of the season. Plus, he is still young. You could have the best player in the league for many years to come.

I sure as well wouldn't keep the guy who stays in rehab for crack, alcohol, or injuries. Braun is the no-brainer here.

Neither would I. He was talking "no brainers" and they are the two most trustworthy guys given Braun and Hamiltons current situations

It isn't a one year league so the fact that he is missing time this year shouldn't matter. You would want Braun for what he will do for your team for many years to come.
