Movie / Television Cliches

Here are a few movie and TV cliches that have always bothered me:
1. Whenever a situation gets "too real" for the protagonist, all he/she needs to do is just go to the restroom and splash a little water on their face. Problem solved.
2. When two characters are in a car and one of the characters gets dropped off somewhere, the character driving ALWAYS turns the car off when the car stops at the destination - no one does this in real life.
That is all. Feel free to add your own movie/TV pet peeves.
