It is kind of sad that my favorite Chad Jones moment was overshadowed by a Patrick Peterson moment...

Yeah the infamous windmill play!!! IMO that play marked the beginning of LSU=DBU

awesome

his accident was june of 2010 I think - considering he almost lost his foot I think limited running after a year and starting to return to normal function by year two is about as good as it could have possibly gone

shows he is a hard worker and deserves recognition for that above everything IMO

still has hurdels but this is def great news! Hard work pays off and def deserves it. Continued prayers for Chad and his recovery.

I think Corey Webster and LaRon Landry started DBU by the way, Chad came ayear after.

Don't think he will play this year, but I could really see him back the year after as a force.

Still get goosebumps about hearing any kind of progress he makes and how he deserves this more than anybody. One of the most humble and nicest LSU players I have met along with Peterson and Jared Mitchell

Great to hear. Chad is one of my favorite tigers of all time. I'm a fan of hard hitting safeties and lights out "closer type" pitchers and even though he didn't pitch very much you could see that killer instinct when he did. Topped off with the predator dreads and he was one of the most exciting athletes to wear purple and gold in a while.
