anyone here ever use UltraViolet?

I see it advertised on flixster. Seems like a nice service if you buy a lot of DVDs.
Basically you buy a dvd from anywhere and if it has a UltraViolet code, you them use the code to add the purchase to your account. Then you can stream the movie to your devices (phone/tablet/etc), or they even let you download it for offline viewing.
Seems like a nice 'alternative' to ripping your own DVDs. I currently rip my dvd and stream within my house using Plex.
