Just curious what everyone's opinions on this are. Which type of games take the most skill? the least? Are there any specific games without genre's that take more skill than usual?

fighting games like street fighter or marvel vs capcom I'd say take the most.

Most Skill: Starcraft

Least Skill: Call of Duty

I'm limiting my selections to games that are top 50 in terms of players

I'm curious how many fighting games have you beaten on the hardest difficulty by mashing buttons. You have to learn all the different combos and block techniques to truly be able to beat the game.

No I don't. Because I can mash buttons and beat you.

Robert Trolling has taken all skill out of it.

Previous version were about a team being individually talented enough to hold down areas of the maps to in order win the objective.

now with the revenge spawns, shitty maps, overpowered weapons, quickscoping, and other gayness...pretty much anyone can get 15-20 kills a game if they are big enough tryhards.

Kingwood and a few others are exxagerating the lack of skill it takes to be decent tho. he likely sucks tho(always a valid argument)

Somebody post the Tommy Wi-show youtube where Tommy Wiseau tries to play Mortal Kombat just by pressing buttons. I'm at work. Thanks.

Most Skill:

RTS games and games like Capcom vs. Street Fighter

Least Skill:

ETA: Changing "Least Skill" vote to just straight Turn-Based RPG.

I know there's more to it than that. Currently have a 2.25 k/d. Still you can just rush into the hotspot on the map and come out with something like 9 kills 11 deaths.
