I think this is huge for us and could be the key to finishing this season and beyond. Tonight I saw real progress on that front. He changed everything that he was doing because none of it worked. As the game progressed, he became a solid defender and more of a slasher on offense.

The 3s we jacked up in the first half (not just him) ceased a great deal and we started actually creating good looks all over the court and it started with his calmer approach.

TJ obviously made some adjustments, and I think the Bass substitution made it painfully clear to Hickey how he needed to adapt. Solid win tonight, and more importantly for the future, solid experience gained.

Agreed, great game all around for the young guys. Hickey played really well to end the game (even his missed three was half way down). I was glad to see Turner get out of his funk, but that late turnover was absolutely awful.

Was glad Trent benched him the 1st half. The others played more like a team when he was out. They also came back when he was out.

Hickey finished with eight points, half of them in the final 22 seconds of overtime.

He still has a lot to learn. I just wish it was someone else with the ball in their hands in the end......

What where you saying when he lost the ball at State and State won?
