I'll be out that way next week and plan to bring an ice chest. Where should I go and what should I bring back?

Kartchner's is good, but IMO bourques is the best meat market I've ever been to. I've literally tried 98% of the things in bourques and the only thing I found to be "meh" was the meatloaf.
The best thing at bourques are the stuffed mushrooms. It doesn't matter which stuffing, because they are all equally amazing.

I used to stop at Bourque's religiously, but now I favor some things at Kartchner's. Both are good, but I haven't gone to Bourque's the last few times since I stop at Kartchner's. I'm one of the few people who doesn't get all excited over the bread there. It's just okay to me.

That bread has become a staple at our hunting camps.
Thats what I see it good for..... Beer and bread at the camp.
At home? Not so much.

Yeah, it's okay and good to have out for game watching and such, but I never got the big hype over it. I made something similar at home, loaf style, using a recipe someone posted here when Neauxla was looking for a recipe and it's much better to me. Toasted slices were darn good.
