Basketball: I have to go with Stromile Swift. I was a manager on the team when Stro played and he was a great guy. He was a hard worker who was an extremely smart basketball player, not to mention his crazy hops. Just a nice guy all the way around. Fun to watch Stromile play basketball.
Football: Matt Mauck. My friend in college was roommates with Rob Sale. I remember watching the kings vs lakers west final. Matt Mauck came over and he was one of the nicest people. Mauck had been in the Cubs farm system, so being a huge Cubs fan it was awesome picking his brain about some of the players.
Baseball: Wally Pontiff. I attended LSU when Pontiff was there. I hung around Lane Mesterpey a lot, so I was around Wally Pontiff some. Wally had a heart of gold, and I'm telling you there is not a baseball player who loved the game more than Wally. There is not a single player who outworked Wally. Still miss #31 forever. My all time favorite LSU athlete period.

Football: Kevin Faulk; began the resurrection of LSU football
Basketball: Garret Temple; him shutting down JJ Reddick to get to the Final Four was fantastic and he's a hometown guy
Baseball: Wally Pontiff; went to the same high school he did and was a great example of how student athletes should carry themselves

Would be tough to change this for me. Football being the toughest. First two there is no doubt though.
