We made it this morning for our 4 day trip. So far

Commanders for lunch. All I expected. Tried the turtle soup, loved it. The quail was great. The soufle was as advertised.

Supper tonight- Yo mama's Bar and Grill.

Gotta make it Molly's at the Market for a drink. Bloodies are awesome, most any drink is. GREAT people watching.

ETA: Heading to the Pass tonight, playing some tennis over there.

Yo mams burgers were good. Wife disapointed they used can chili on her burger. My mushroom burger was good. Her baked poratoe was spot on, my potatoe salad was pretty average.

Today
Lunch- Johnny Poboys
Supper- Maximos Italian Grill

Try out Grapevine,

Its on Orleans, between royal and bourbon.

I went Friday night based on several recommendations from local waiters and cooks in the Quarter.

Great wine selection and menu.

Had the Lamb Chops...

We used tripadvisor, this board, yelp and local reccomendations to choose our resturants. We wanted all kinds of foods while here. Staying in quarter. No driving this week.

Johnnys was awesome. I got roast beef, wife got oysters. Will share next time. Both poboys were perfect. Will be a routine stop everytime we come to NOLA.

Wolfe's is the new restaurant over there that I want to try. It's where French Charlie's was. Shaggy's always has good burgers.
