Going tonight for the first time. Any recommendations? How is it? I know people who love it and others who say it's just ok. TIA

It's pretty overpriced IMHO.

Morton's seafood in Madisonville?

Only recommendation I can think of is go somewhere else.

Morton's Steakhouse in New Orleans?

Only recommendation I can think of is that there are better choices.

The one time I went I had a decent prime rib in the bar area. The most entertaining part of the meal was watching a server talk about the cuts of meat on his cart for about 15 minutes (I felt sorry for those diners...they were almost asleep by the end of his presentation.)

Overpriced for slightly above average food.

Haven't been to the one in New Orleans, but I can say the one in Atlanta was very good, but also considerably overpriced.

Pricing seems to be the biggest knock against Morton's.
