My wife mentioned she wanted to see this so I figured I would pick it up on the way home this afternoon. The previews seem good.

Anyone here seen the film?

I’ll hang up and listen

TIA

Much better than I was expecting it to be. My wife said it follwed the book exactly. I don't read so I'd have no clue. It's worth a rent.

I really enjoyed the book. It is literally about running away to join the circus.

It was awful. Slow and boring.

i had never read the book, and knew it was a chick flick, but my buddy said he enjoyed it so i gave it a shot. not the best thing, ever but not the worse. Honestly, for me, it was worth watching just for the climax. pretty cool, imho.

The book is pretty violent and sexual. And the framing device is the main character as the crankiest old dude in the nursing home. It's nothing like chick lit.

Read the book and saw the movie. It has some chick flick moments, but the book was written in the guy's perspective, so the movie sort of follows along with that. I think that Rob Pattinson gets a bad rap from the Twilight movies. He was great in this, and pretty good in Remember Me. Plus, Christoph Waltz is in it. That's always a plus.

see, that's something I didn't know. My brain has been conditioned to think this: "popular book rushed into a date movie, must be Nicholas Sparks",
