Sierra Nevada - Torpedo
RedHook - Long Hammer IPA
Samuel Smith - Oatmeal Stout
Rogue - Chocolate Stout
North Coast - Brother Thelonious
Lump of Coal Dark Holiday Stout

Had um all but the Thelonious and the LOC. The Samuel Smith is my favorite and the one that got me into Oatmeal Stouts. Wish Louisiana had access to more distributors.

It is a good beer. North Coast has a solid lineup. Brother Thelonious and Pranqster often make it into my rotation.

There are lots of beers I'd like to see here, but we have access to so many more great beers now compared to 2 years ago. Sure, it could be better, but we have it pretty good compared to not long ago.

Yeah, I really like Pranqster too, i've never really had anything from North Coast that wasn't solid.

you can actually thank InBev-AB for that. Mocklear is allowed to carry different smaller brands now. Funny, huh?

Have you tried their Old Stock Ale? It is really good, but the opposite of a "session beer". You can't drink many of them--almost like a meal in a bottle and the ABV is about 12% I think.

Really? I don't know the reason, but there is so much out there on the shelves now that we didn't see a couple of years ago. I really think we have it pretty good.

Only thing I have had from NC is Old Rasputin and Prangster and the Thelonious is chilling right now. Those are the only ones ive found in North La.(Shreveport/Bossier)

I forgot about the Old Rasputin. This is an excellent stout. LIke you said, North Coast is solid.

Old Rasputin, Pranqster, and Old Stock are fantastic. Old No. 38 and Red Seal are excellent as well.

The ACME beers aren't very good though. The ACME IPA is gross and the pale ale is average.
