Any one have experience with ps3 and 3DTV?

Asked guy at best buy about playing ps3 and having only ur screen in ur glasses when playing split screen. He said it was through the PS3 so it didn't matter what TV you had. Is this correct?

That's what he was saying. that it wasn't the tv, its the PS3 that makes it capable.

I'm pretty sure the ps3 tv is what has simulview technology. You also need the extra special glasses that determines player one and two. These come with the tv of course.
