Doomsday=me killing people to get what I need.

It was entertaining. Though, I can see the series getting old fast, as they all do the same basic preparations.
Interesting though, that they are stockpiling food, as their doomsday scenarios call for a major lack of food. Then they go on national television and talk about how much food they have. Sooooo, if the scenario plays out, everybody within 100 miles knows who has all the food. Not smart.
And do they really think a group of 5-20 people can hold off thousands of starving people?
The short fat lady doing jiujitsu workouts was the best.

But they are going to let all of their friends join them and they are training them.
The girl from Houston did the smartest thing if she really is planning to try to survive The End. By joining the army she'll have carte blanche to kill whoever she wants to kill if everything really does break down.
She just has to cross her fingers and hope she doesn't get deployed into a combat zone before then. The combat experience might help her in her quest to survive though. Too bad I'm a 53 year old who'll probably be eaten by my starving neighbors.
