Great prospect, will be interesting to see if we continue to recruit him.

Hopefully he can be out LT for this class.

Another note is that is that Ishmael Wilson maybe nearing an offer this week. The staff might be going through OL and evaluating and maybe(hopefully) Wilson gets offered soon.

Do yall think we should offer Josh Thomas from Evangel? He is 6'7" and 329lbs. You can't teach size, and that guy definately has it.

He likes Texas and if they offer(unlikely at this point) he would commit. He is going to the Texas junior day.

Nothing to fret about

Ishmael Wilson, Josh Boutte, Santa Marina (Bama says they got him) are all better than Thomas.

I hope we go out of state to land 1 OL. (other than Wilson of course)

You couldn't teach 6'8" Brad Smalling size but Greg Gathers took him to school in the Peach Bowl.

I don't think anyone really knows who is better at this point. They are juniors in high school. They all have a lot of time to develop. You never really know with O-lineman. I think the recruiting websites have a lot of trouble evaluating O-lineman.Some of the really highly-touted ones end up being busts, and some of the two-star and three-star ones end up being first-round picks a few years down the road. I would think that a guy with a 6'7", 330lb. frame would be a good project for someone to take on even if he is not completely ready right now. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him.

Nice to see LSU reaching out of their traditional recruiting footprint. We need to go far and wide to get the best players.

I'd take Auburn out of his equation. They took as many O-linemen this year as we took LB's. Feel sorry for Miller as they unexpectedly picked up 5stars late.

I know it was a hurt for him to pay the spring semester, or just start in the summer, but now it looks like going to AU was cutting off his nose to spite his face with the OL starpower AU picked up late. Someone is going to ride the pine out of that bunch.
